My recent visit to Alki Beach

Hello everyone, I've spent some time recently at Alki beach. It's located in West Seattle, and near where I currently live. It's a beautiful place with many local shops, restaurants, and places to visit for fun. Most of the restaurants and shops are located near the beach for easy access. I spent some time "sampling" the local food, drinks, and enjoying talking to some of the local people who live here. Most of them are very friendly and happy to point you in the direction of any of the "hot-spots" in the area. I enjoyed the food and the drinks, I was very happy to find the drinks are cheaper then I thought it would be. You'll find some pretty good deals on the food too! Most of the small shops and restaurants are locally owned and are not big company's so they tend to provide a fair price.

I found the only down side to Alki Beach is finding a parking spot. At least on sunny and warm days. If you ride a motorcycle you won't have any problems finding a spot to park your bike. For everyone else try to arrive before the normal "rush hours" and you'll be fine. If you happen to live close to Alki Beach, a walk would be recommend on a warm sunny day. If you don't live in West Seattle, I would highly recommend taking a visit to Alki Beach. It's worth the trip, and you'll be surprised at how beautiful it really is. I spent a good 5 hours at Alki Beach, and enjoyed every second. :) If you happen to know any other good spots to visit in or near West Seattle please let me know by commenting bellow, thanks in advance!

As a side note, I forgot my main (Canon) camera at home when I visited Alki Beach. So all the images you'll find on this Hub was taken from my phone. It's nice to see how technology has evolved. :) For the tech geeks out there, my phone is a Motorola Atrix, sporting a 5 Mega Pixel camera with dual LED flash. Thanks for reading everyone! Hope to see you at Alki soon! ;)
